The professional does thing for gain, honor, money. But the amateur does thing for love. In fact the word amateur comes from the word love. The amateur does things because he love it.. the amateur get life out of what he does. In a real way he/she has a virgin heart.

The professional athlete is more conversed with his contract. An amateur in its truest sense is motivated by love. Better an amateur priest than a professional theologian. Better an amateur mother father than a professional caregiver.
