When I was assigned to St Mary in Frederickburg.. I was looking for book for book at Barnes and Noble. While looking for a book.. a person said that that they were… moved by the Gospel.. when Jesus changed 5 loaves 2 fishes to feed 5 thousand persons.. I said.. the spiritual sense of this ‘is love’ Love is the only thing when you give it away. You end up having more…. the person said that they were moving to California and if I ever came there I could stay with them.. They gave me a phone number…

About a month later I was at a Conformation of 8th graders at St Mary Mary in Fredericksburg. The person who I meet at Barnes and Noble was a sponsor of one 0f the 8th graders… About a week later I get a letter.. describing the person experience.. during the Confirmation they saw my entire life.. in Light… they saw in an instance that they saw my life from the moment I became a priest to the moment I was crowned in Light in Heaven…

I bought a ticket to California.. When I got to California they asked me.. ‘What brings you here?” Which I said ‘you do.’ Remember when you said.. if I came to California  I could stay with you.’ So I did… 

But what stay with me.. Is the Transfiguration that we remember today.. That Jesus face shone like the Sun.’ Light.. As Jesus Body shone like the Sun In Glory and this is an image of How Our Body will shine like the Stars in Glory.. I have to think… that a chance occurrence  in Barnes and Nobles to buy a book.. and a letter from a person that was a sponsor of a young person at a Confirmation at St Mary in Fredericksburg..

I wonder if what that person saw at Confirmation was somehow vision of how.. The Transfiguration will be a image of how we will become like the ‘Stars in Glory.’ in Light..

Just think of this.. during this second Sunday  in Lent.. That brought me to California..
