The first expression of joy when Adam saw Eve and said ‘She is bone of my bone flesh of my flesh.’ As I was just reading this. It seems to me that there is a Marian element in the Eucharist.

When Jesus sees the Eucharist. The Eucharist is taken from the rib heart of Jesus. So when Adam first saw Eve these words of Joy echo what will take place in the Eucharist…so in a real way by type Eve Mary is an image of the Eucharist.. so when the Priest changes the bread wine into His Body and Blood. Jesus can say with Adam ‘this is bone of my bone flesh of my flesh.’

And when we receive Communion Flesh of Jesus we are like Eve before the fall and Mary now.. Jesus says about us ‘he she is bone of my bone flesh of my flesh.’

So in this the Eucharist make us like Eve before the fall and Mary now!!
