Random thought.. I am no intellectual.. in fact I was mentally challenged..

I was put in the slow class all the way through college.. I was taken out of class in elementary school and high school to classes for the mentally challenged.. but I always loved the questions of philosophy.. in fact when I was in grade school i would read Aristotle, even Aqunias. But i wondered if I would even pass high school school as I was in the class for kids who needed extra extra help..

In the end when I read that ‘only 5 percent of college require only a single class in philosophy to graduate’ it depresses me..

It makes me sad that the very questions of the meaning of life have become almost irrelevant questions.. that is deeply concerning.

Because what happen in 30 years when you have made your life money. But you longer have the categories give in philosophy to ask the questions of Why.. I fear we will be left in a void.

Think about it.. higher education no longer think philosophy is important.. only 5 percent of college require only a single class in philosophy to graduate..
