I knew the Bishop was going to make his policy on the TLM.. before I read the policy. I read this Saint Ignatius of Antioch that every priests deacon will read on Saturday…’ Hear your bishop, that God may hear you. My life is a sacrifice for those who are obedient to the bishop, the presbyters and the deacons; and May it be the lot to share with them in God work.’

It seems like St Ignatius to saying ‘if you want your prayers heard by God.. ‘hear your bishop that God may hear you,’

I don’t envy the bishop.. but I thought these words that every priest deacon will read on Saturday almost seem providential.. that what I think it might mean that faith is often a dark night..
