This is Jim Jones. I know you from St Mary’s where I used to go to some of your healing masses. Also as a parishioner of St Timothy’s where you were one of the priests awhile back. I’m writing you about my present situation and I’m wondering if you can help me in any way. I need healing. I’ve had a torn tendon in my right upper abductor for about 2 years now which a doctor has treated but doesn’t seem to go away. Recently I now have a torn tendon in the same area on the left side for about 8 weeks. I’ve had some treatment for it but it has gotten worse and I’m in terrible pain 24/7. I’m asking for your healing prayers if you can. I’ve prayed for healing but so far I haven’t gotten better. I’m 77 years old and in otherwise good health. I feel I still have a lot to do in my life. I have 10 grandchildren mostly in the Denver area which I haven’t been able to see or enjoy because of my pain and unable to travel. I am a retired Navy pilot, retired Continental Airlines captain, and presently work part-time for Delta Air Lines as a pilot simulator training instructor. I haven’t been able to work because of my pain.

It seems part of my life in the past has been in pain. In my late twenties I had continuous lower back pain for two years from an auto accident. I couldn’t do anything or sit without it hurting. I went to a charismatic healing retreat in San Diego (about 1979). It was a two day retreat. That night while I was sleeping in the room the retreat provided I had this uncontrollable laughing and a white tunnel of light came down to me and I could faintly see the face of the Lord and he said to me that he loved me. In 2006 after a hernia repair surgery something did not go right with the surgery and I had continuous severe pain afterwards for a year. I went to 10 different doctors but nobody could figure out what was wrong. I was in such pain that I couldn’t get off the couch in my house. I would have my daughter take me to some prayer meetings at All Saints in Manassas. They would pray over me after the meeting and on one occasion a person of prophecy spoke to me as the Lord that I was suffering and feeling the pain that He the Lord had felt when dying on the cross and that he would heal me.

So Father Stefan I hope you can reach out to me and help me in any way that you can. I know that you have healing prayers. I can come to you if needed. I contacted your parish and the person I spoke to said she could not give me your email but would forward my information to you and that you were on vacation.

He is 21 and 5 years ago he sustained an injury to his elbow that, after 5 surgeries, still isn't healed. His arm is basically stuck at an 80 degree angle. He cannot bend his elbow at all and cannot perform basic daiy tasks like combing his hair or buttoning his shirt. His surgeon is baffled as to why he hasn't recovered any range of motion.

Father I would be so grateful for your prayers of healing for my son. His name is Nathan. He is a wonderful young man who lives God and is a faithful Catholic. He has had such a positive attitude throughout all of his trials. We are meeting with his doctor again in 3 weeks and I pray he can come up with a plan to help him, with God's guidance.

So, today, I will be bold and humbly ask if you would consider visiting my Aunt and minister over her as she is severely physically ill and heavily medicated from what I feel the root cause is a fight with and being gripped by spiritual demons. She needs some sort of purge or relief in the probably short time she has left in this world. She was raised in a Catholic household and went to Catholic schools but somehow taken over at a very young age. My dear Grandmother who just passed away last month at age 102, has been praying for her for years and doing her best to support her while we all thought my Aunt is just a typical 'jerk'.with no discipline and self-righteous and more. I was fortunate to meet you many years ago at St Charles Borromeo, Arlington where I asked you to pray for my mother who had a painful back injury. She was pain-free that same night! However, since 2014 I have an unexplained health issue that causes me to have chronic hypoglycemia and I am unable to properly digest a lot of food. I was extremely ill and was not expected to live much longer as I had so many seizures every single day because my body was strangely producing too much insulin. The doctors were baffled at why this was happening. Slowly, after receiving Anointing of the Sick, my health improved. It took me many years for my independence to return but I got better although never fully cured, despite being on an extremely strict diet. I have now moved to Charlotte NC and my health in going downhill again. I had not experienced a seizure in years but I had a very serious one in January. Additionally, my liver and kidneys are not working well and I cannot digest food again. My digestion issues are so bad that I cannot sleep well most nights. I am not married, have not managed to find a job that I can do from home and have so many problems that I am overwhelmed. My grandfather was a mason and I very much worry that this is why my life is so difficult. Also, when I was 21, (I am 54 now) my friends forced me (literally dragged me) to the tent of a fortune teller. I wanted to leave but she grabbed my palm and said that I would have a very difficult life and went into specific details, I am freaked out because all she said has come true. Is there a time I can call you over the phone? I am coming to Arlington VA (where my sister still lives) sometime this spring when I finish the next round of medical tests. Is there any way I can see you on that visit? Or can you suggest a healing Mass ? I have no idea what to do next. I feel I can trust your judgement.

I was referred to you by my friend whose deceased mother-in-law, Mrs.Jones, loved you and your work and used to minister locally in the jail system. I just received your book - oh my - amazing!!!! I am a parishioner of the Arlington Dioceses but have an Aunt in Chicago that after years of observation as a lay person, I feel she is gripped. She needs and did say when I confronted her about her demons that she does want help. She is in an assisted living facility because 'she' has put herself there -no quality of life, can't be bothered to live or die as she has had 2 heart attacks which changed nothing in her habits. She has been angry since toddler age according to my other aunt, her sister, who is helping with the administration of her life to this day. My Aunt Bernadette was born in 1953. She continues to lash out to her 102 year old mother and family despite being medicated. She needs to have some peace before she leaves this earth and so does my Grandmother a devout Catholic who continues to go see her despite her age and the verbal abuse over the decades. Sean, who we have prayed together for and you have prayed over because of his spinal issues. Send Sean's last spinal surgery which was and 2012 or 13I think he has not had another spinal surgery. He does experience pain, but overall his spine is healthy. Sean became one of the core members of the nativity young adult group and met his wife there. They've been married. It will be three years in may.They have a son who is one, and they're expecting another baby in june. Overall, he's doing well, and he and his wife living the faith and raising their family and the faith. His wife has Usher's syndrome, which has taken hearing and vision from her, and her vision, is progressively worsening. Again, they are living a life of faith and i'm proud of them.
I came to ask for prayer for my 21-year-old daughter Maryn, who has depression and anxiety and some other challenges. She is currently spiraling and needs healing and intensive prayer. Actually we all need prayer, because we're at the end of our ropes and giving her an ultimatum to get healthy or get out, and that's very hard, but we have to do what's right for us and our family, but it's heartbreaking as parents.

One week from today I will have a third time of imaging. I have a tumor on my ovary the size of a lemon. It is NOT likely that the tumor is cancer, but there is a chance. The only way they can know is if I have a major surgery to remove the tumor surgically so they can biopsy it. However, if they remove the tumor, they must also remove my ovary. I have been on disability leave from my full time job three times in the last three years, due to having had 5 concussions. I continue to have problems with my brain, and do not want to have surgery and anesthesia if I can avoid it.
Will you please pray that my tumor just disappears? If it disappears, then I won't have to have surgery. (Note: multiple doctors have told me this kind of tumor does't disappear. It would be a miracle if it disappeared.)

You baptized him at his sister in laws house on Saturday January 21. Greg, and I always talked about God and Jesus and how Jesus is the Devine healer. I spoke to him in early January after he had moved in with his Brother Scott and SIL Jeanine he was open and very honest with me and said he was afraid to die. I remember telling him Jesus will be with you.

He texted me and another friend that he received the sacraments. Greg was able to tank both of us for his encouragement and love and support. He was able to eat and not feel so anxious anymore.


I know that Jesus was with him when he died Friday February 16, 2024.

My husband of 40 years has had Multiple Sclerosis for over 50 years. I sincerely thought when I married him that he would get healed - we took him to every healing service within a 50 mile radius from our home for years. Such was not God's plan. Praise God. He has been a functional quadriplegic now for 34 years and the last 20 in the VA nursing home since I almost died.
God has blessed us with two daughters and number 7 grand baby is on the way. Our life has been full and wonderful. My friend received a prophecy years ago (1997) that he would be healed and as "it is being accomplished your life will be full and wonderful".

My reason for reaching out to you today is because my oldest granddaughter - Isabella- who is now 8 loves her PopPop dearly and prays for him. :Last month she said to me:
"Grandmom, if God does a healing and PopPop can walk, can he come to Grandparents' Day at my school?" I can't stop thinking of those precious words.
April 26th, 2024- Grandparents' Day.

I read Psalm 37, vs 4 frequently. Dominic and I do take delight in the Lord and have committed our way to Him and He has been soo gracious to us.

Good Morning! I hope your day is going well.

There is something I would like to ask you that has been on my mind for some time.

I have only met you a few times but to me you come across as a true man of faith.

Unlike others, it seems to me that you live in a radical knowing (rather than an uncertain trust) that God is good and works specifically for your particular good.

Those who are "People of Faith" live life without much anxiety and are able to laugh. They are gentle and kind--but not in that forced, uneasy way, but rather it seems to come across as natural to their being.

They are, like St. Iranaeus describes, men fully alive!

To me, such people are like this because they have encountered God in such a way that they gain this undeniable faith.

It says in Hebrews 12:2 about Jesus, "On the contrary, because of the joy that was waiting for him, he thought nothing of the disgrace of dying on the cross"

People of Faith seem to know there is a joy waiting for them too.

My question to you is: How can I come to become a woman of faith? How do I learn that God is truly good and works for my personal good? Ultimately, how can I *really* come to know God?

I know this is a loaded question, but if you have any small piece of advice for someone who is searching, for someone who is dragging herself to become convinced of this truth, it would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see many people who have such radical trust as you and I want to know your secret.

How did you come to know God in that way? How can I do so too (especially with my stoney semi-hopeless heart, my once-prayerful-then-turned-wild-but-then-turned-back past)?

Just as Elisha (?) asked Elijah for a double portion of his spirit, I ask for portion of this radical faith in God.
