God timing.. I read this.. today is the Solemnity of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.. which is the second Sunday after Pentecost.. so today June 24.. but normally June 24 is the feast of the Nativity of John the Baptist.’

However, this year (2022), it falls on the same day as the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which is celebrated on the Friday following Pentecost Sunday and falls on a different date each year.

‘Not only was Roe overturned on the
day we celebrate the Sacred Heart,
but every other year it will fall on the
Nativity of John the Baptist
–Who
recognized the humanity of Christ in the womb ‘

So next year we will read on day Roe was overturned ‘the Lord called me from birth, from my mother’s womb he gave me my name:’ Isaiah 49:2

And from the Gospel ‘when the time arrived for Elizabeth to have her child she gave birth to a son.’ Luke 1: 57 and in the visitation an unborn baby John is the first person to recognize Jesus when he leaps in the womb of Elizabeth:’ so on the day we will read how the first person who recognize Jesus is an unborn baby in the womb.

And today which is the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We read how Jesus leaves the 99 to go in search for the one lost sheep. It seems by God design that today of all day, when 2 feasts converge Nativity of John and the Sacred Heart of Jesus.. we remember the humanity of the unborn baby, who is leaping in the womb for joy.
