Most of my masses in Nov are for the souls in Purgatory.. which I did offer but knowing my plans for the day.. remembered in a special way the souls of people who died because of Communism.. and knowing I was going to a museum that honored them.. without a ticket.. asking them to pray for me today as I offered my Mass for them

On Monday.. I got idea to go to see the new ‘Victims of Communism ‘ museum in DC… I trusted that I would not need a ticket.. heck.. my name sake Major Stefan Starzynski of Warsaw was killed by the Nazi.. in 1939and he was at the battle of Vistula that stopped the Russian Army in 1920.. when Our Lady of Chestochowa appeared and stopped the Russian..so he and others would intercede for me..

I was right. Rang bell.. paid twice the ticket fee.. and a good part like 20 percent was about Poland Warsaw.. in fact Stalin said ‘that taking Warsaw was the key ‘ and Warsaw stopped Communism for 20 years from making advances in Europe..

So from there walked to the Mall.. as I walked in front of Air space museum.. it looked like it was closed for a long time.. remolding.. but I remember that I heard it was opened. Asked a construction worker he told me that ‘yes it just opened ‘ what luck.. go to other side.. see long line.. learn have to get tickets., no more tickets for 11.. but get a ticket online for 12..lady in line showed me a text that the Museum was closed since 2018.. just reopened.

Have an hour to walk.. go to Art museum.. they have a 3 months temporary exhibit of Vermeer.. wow.. score.. go to Air Space.. get in 12… see cool new exhibits, one on speed, one on the planets..

Get a text.. a lady who husband I gave last rites too.. saw my text message.. said saw you are here, come to lunch with us.. at Capital Hill Club.. I organized a group from Brussels to come to DC.. hearing that the club was right next to the Capital.. sounds fancy.. so a short walk find club.. take stair up.. and sit with group of business men politician from Brussels.. , one man was CEO of largest tank maker in Europe.. I give my thought.. like Drone warfare, is the modern equivalent of the snippers from the Vietnam war.. I jokingly say ‘how about becoming Catholic’

The lady who invited me told me that her husband that I gave last Rites too.. was one of the founding members of the Museum of Victims of Communism. Looking around the room see if I recognize anyone.. saw a Sheikh.. he looked important.. I wanted to say hi.. but too many people around him.. heard him say something that I thought was funny.. telling his friends that cars here don’t have an ash tray in them.. thinking to myself.. no car made in last 40 years as an ash tray.. not wanting to be a bother, they had work todo.. had lunch, then went to Bull Feathers..

After took Metro home..
