With all the connections I have to Our Lady of Częstochowa.. firstly my name Sake Mayor Stefan Starzynski Warsaw 1939 killed by German.. when a priest mentioned when you go to visit Jasa Gora in Poland.. the actual image of Our Lady of Częstochowa there is a plaque begind the Image in the monastery..

When I learned that he was at the battle of Vistula 1920 when Our Lady of Częstochowa appeared over the Vistula river in Warsaw and stooped the Russian advance.. in fact their bullets just fell to the ground when fired.

So this alone made me put great confidence in Our Lady of Częstochowa.. I do a perpetual Novena to her..

So in my research I learned that my great great great Uncle Thefil Starzynski from Polish Hill Pittsburg founded the Polish Falcon 1918 that created the American Polish war effort (on Tomb Stone ) but when I learned about 6 months ago that he is buried with other Polish Hero at the American Częstochowa Dolleystown I had to come.. i learned when in 2018 ( to mark the 100 anniversary of the founding of the Polish Falcon.) a plaque was put inside the American Shrine of Our Lady of Częstochowa I had to come.

When I called the president of the Polish Falcon he sent me a movie made in 1927 of Thefil Starzynski, Pulinski first president of Poland 1920.. Poland was whipped off the map from 1780 to 1920.. only after WWI Poland became a nation again.. this was the dream of Polish people all over the world in places like Pittsburg Buffalo Chicago and other. Well he sent me a movie made in 1927 of them going to Poland to give thanks.. especially moving to me. Was seeing in real time then going to Shrine of Our Lady of Częstochowa Jasa Gora in Poland.

So last Monday drove to Dolleystown which is the Major Shrine of Our Lady of Częstochowa outside of Poland. In fact, the monks the Pauline Monks founded in 1250.. were given to their care the image of Our Lady of Częstochowa in the 1300s.. late.. well the monks here in Dolleytown have their Monastery here, so same monks that are in Jasa Gora.. there are like 200 monks at shrine in Poland. All their monks live there for time.

In fact, when Poland was wiped off the map, Poland no longer existed the Pauline Order only had to monestary left, and only 18 monks, political power, Islam. But by God providence Jasa Gora the church that houses the Image of Our Lady of Częstochowa was one of them.. and our Lady protected the Church fortress by invading armies. That is a main reason that Our Lady of Częstochowa was the heart soul of Polish people.

At dinner here with monks Dolleytown feel like I am in Poland, they speak Polish., they were almost all born there.. so taking to the monks yesterday I asked them are their any relics of the actual image I can have.. in anyone has them it is them.. so one of the monks handed me 5 cloth relics that were placed on the actual image of Our Lady of Częstochowa, blessed by the monks there and prepared by Carmelite nuns.. I am not sure how easy these are to get.. but I do think they are Holy..

During my masses here.. offsetting them for all the people who have asked me to pray for them to Our Lady of Częstochowa..
