Rosa Mystica…

Only once– a priest in the seminary had this statue. So I was familiar with the statue.. Mary had 3 Roses on Her Chest. 

A White Rose-

A Red Rose- 

A Golden Rose-

Last Week I read this from the Vatican.. ‘The Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF) announced the approval of the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Pierina Gilli, an Italian visionary who received apparitions and messages from the Virgin Mary in 1947 and 1966.)  (National Catholic Register July 8)

Knowing that the Vatican approving an  apparition is rare.. in fact (I googled how rare and the EWTW show Miracle Hunter host said there were 16 of them.’ So Rosa Mystica is now up there with Our Lady of Lourdes, Fatima..etc.. 

Knowing this I ordered the book on Wednesday and it came on Friday.. 

In the book ‘Mary ‘Rosa Mystica’ by Rev Raymond Jasinski we read ‘ Our Lady said in Montichiari on July 13, 1947, ‘It is my wish that the 13th of July each year celebrated in honor of the ‘Rosa Mystica.’ 

Mary also appeared on Dec 8 the ‘Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.’ and even refers to herself as ‘Rosa Mystica’ ..and ‘Immaculate Conception.’ She even said that there are special graces given at noon on the Solemnity ‘ The Author writes ‘Annually at mid-day (12pm -1 pm) on 8th of December, the Hour of Pardon for the world should be observed.  Mary says ‘If anyone cannot visit take church, he should pray at home at mid-day. He will then receive the same grace through me.’

On Saturday.. At Holy Trinity we took a bus for the day… for a day pilgrimage to the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. 

And we were going on the feast day, just yesterday the feast day of Rosa Mystica July13.. (The visions had only been approved earlier that week.’

A thought came to me.. an inspiration.. On Bus I told the group before praying the Rosary was to tell them about the message.. we did the Novena prayer to Her… under this title..

And feeling the honor to offer the very first Votive Mass, in the Mother Church of Mary in the United States.. I will have the honor to offer the very first Mass to Mary under title of “Rosa Mystica’ on Her  Feast  Day.

When we got there.. I went to book store.. to see if they had any vestments of Mary (under this new title) to buy for the Mass, and a statue of her.

They had none– but they had Rosa Mystica medals.. Got 45 of them

Had the Mass at 11 am in a side chapel of ‘Mary Mother of Missions.’ Had Votive Mass for Mary ‘Rosa Mystica’ blessed the medals gave them to the group after Mass..

When I was returning the key to the lady in office.. Make sure you return the key….I talk to the lady behind the desk.. and she said ‘You are the first group today to offer Mass.’ 

Was  handing out some more Medals to people I meet. And one lady said ‘Yes today I heard on EWTN that today is the Feast day of Mary ‘Rosa Mystica.’
