Fr Stefan thoughts..

Fr Stu.. when I saw it on Sunday ‘I said to my mother I honestly don’t know what I will think’

It was better than I expected.. I felt the sincerity of Mat W… I liked it.. I thought it was moving.. and I think the real Fr Stu was a good and holy priest..

I am getting a kick out of reading people reviews, especially from some Catholic.. As if we are making some great moral stand for or against seeing the movie.. Yes it is Hollywood.. that means over the top..

I liked in the end learning about Fr Stu.. who by everything I have read was a good priest..

But the movie like all movies is a matter of taste.. (that being said there are movies that we ought not to see or support ) … I don’t think this movie rises to that.. in the end one person might like it even love it and another person might dislike it or even hate it.. but like most movies this is a matter of our tastes.

During the pandemic I have almost stop going to movies.. so it took this type of movie for me to get back in the theaters..
