Fr Stefan reflection on the thief on the left and sin of Envy and those who always attack Pope Francis.
The sin of the Bad thief was envy. He would said ‘Jesus come down from the cross and save yourself and us ‘ He was full of envy.. Fulton S wrote ‘that he was saying if I had your power i would use it differently. I would smite my enemies ‘
Many who seem to always criticize Pope F seem to me to have the sin of envy.. they don’t so much love the Church but love the power that Pope Francis has.. which means that it is good they are not given the power of the papacy, because under much of their criticism lies the sin of envy.. if I was Pope I would come down from the Cross and smite those who i disagree with..
So if someone seem only to criticize the pope Francis are they clocking a sin of envy under the garment of love for the Church.. as F S wrote where there is much criticism there is often hidden the sin of envy..
When we criticize someone are we motivate by love or envy of them.. if it is envy God in His Mercy is good in not giving us their power and responsibilities?
