A story about the Miraculous Medal!! When I was assigned to St Mary Fredericjsburg.. I went on a trip to England and Paris… today like to share my M medal story…i was walking thought Hyde Park.. pack pack on me.. looking for my hotel.. it was dark.. knowing that the next day I was going to take the Chunnel.. underground train from London to Paris.. I wanted to go to see where Mary appeared to St Catherine L.. I didn’t know where at all no address.. but as I am scared walking alone in Hyde park I see what looks like a convent.

I came across Convent.. rang the bell what felt late.. sistet open the door.. Below is about the convent.
The sister pointed me in the right direction to my hotel.. and asked me to come back on Sunday for Morning Mass.. before Mass one of the sister I think Mother Superior took me to a guest room to talk to me.. I guess to see if I was legit.. I offered mass for the sisters.. and I asked the sister if she knew the address of where we got the M Medal. She said no but handed me a medal and said this will guide you.

Below is a summary of Convent that I found on their website..look to the bottom of blog for rest of the story…

‘TYBURN CONVENT is a monastery situated right in the heart of London, near the famous site of the Tyburn Gallows where more than 100 Catholics were martyred during the Reformation. It is a cloistered community of benedictine contemplatives who live by the ancient monastic Rule of St Benedict. The charism and work of the community is prayer. Our Foundress, Marie Adèle Garnier made Tyburn Convent the home of the famous shrine of the English Reformation Martyrs of Tyburn. It is the Mother House of monasteries worldwide.

In 1901 the young community of Mother Marie Adèle Garnier fled to England on account of the laws of France against religious Orders. “On the mission not on exile” was the spirit that inspired them then. They took possession of Tyburn Convent in London on 3 March, 1903; it was founded for the glorification of the Sacred Heart and of the English Martyrs, a work devoted to the conversion of the country which was known as an Island of Saints and Our Lady’s Dowry. It has as its special mission, prayer for the people of England and Wales.

For more than a hundred years the Tyburn community has given the church and city a place of Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration. ‘

So after Mass on Sunday at the convent take the Chunnel to Paris train station.. guided only by this medal.. get out of train-station and see the host of cabs.. go up to a random cab show him the medal and say ‘take me to the origin of this medal’ with no more than that I get in cab snd he drives. After a while he stops. He points in a direction. It is in a back alley of sorts., and come to this chapel.. highlight.. they had in the sanctuary the actual chair that Mary sat in when she appeared to St Catherine. And I was able to touch the chair that Mary sat in that day on Nov 27 1830.
