Beautiful mass last night at St Janes Charles Town WV… a good crowd.. to bless everyone with a relic of St Philomena

This morning pastor set me up for mass and I saw a person in the adoration chapel in the 7 o’clock hour.. ask her if she wants to go to mass.. she is the secretary..only one at mass..

Bring relic and my intention is ‘that through the in intercession of St Philomena everyone in the parish will be blessed.’

The Gospel today Jesus raise from the dead ‘the girl, a child of twelve, arose immediately and walked about.’

My homily to one person. Philomena was a girl of 12 or 13 years of age..

Jesus says to the ‘synagogue official, ‘do not be afraid, just have faith.’

My though what Faith this little girl of 12 that Jesus raised from the dead must have had. It is one thing to see someone raised from the dead.. it another thing to be the person raised from the dead. What faith Lazarus must have had..

St Philomena faith must have grown as the Angels came to her defense when she was left for dead.
