Thought from the day From Hans Urs von Balthasar..

‘That we start closer to perfection as children but we lose it as adult’ so we start closer to wholeness as children in the sense that children are at peace with their bodies, but as adult we get disconnected from our bodies, so later in life have a second virginity where we become like children as adults in that we are one with our bodies and emotions’
This is one sense ‘unless you become like children’

So in this according to Balthasar perfection is not something gained in the future it is something we are born with loss and need to regain..

Again one take on ‘unless you become like children ‘

As adults become like children and at home in our bodies.
