Went to confession this morning. Penance prayed a Divine Mercy Chaplet..
Just left a room in ER.. lady is going to God..
Place a Brown Scapular on Her. Give her last rites.. Apostolic Blessing. Pray the litany of saints, than put image of Divine Mercy on Bed. While I am praying the chaplet she folds her arms in prayer. She is praying with me.. See that she is conscious, but doctor believe very soon go to God..
Seeing that she is conscious. I ask her ‘are you sorry for your sins.’ Says ‘Yes’
Give her absolution than communion.
We are talking and I ask her. When you get to Heaven will you put in a good word for me to Mary and Joseph. She nods her head and says ‘Yes.’
Being a hospital chaplin you are close to the source of grace..
