Just anointed a man who had Covid.. one of the adventures of being a Chaplin at the hospital is seeing the goodies food treats that family leave for the staff nurses etc…

I should write a book.. Some family are really generous, lots of pizza, donuts… duck donuts.

Christmas was a festival of treats.. well walk out of room see two big boxes on counter, Blue Bunny.. inside are ice cream sandwiches.. on the counter 75 degree..

I take one thinking how long can these 60 ice cream sandwiches last.. there are not that many staff.. head nurse says ‘they won a prize’ And I can have one.. very delicious.. and that they just arrive.My ice cream sandwich was solid just a little melting.

But thinking they will need to just give these away to anyone they see.. in only a few minutes these 60 ice cream sandwiches sitting on the counter will be a big puddle of Ooze
