When I left St Patrick to go to St Mary of Sorrow..it was right after Easter.. early April late March..
I wanted to visit Saint Joseph Church tomb of St Andre B… I remember having a severe attack of Gout.. take daily medicine now.. I remember going to airport crutches.. and yes using crutches.. so much did my feet hurt.. those who suffer from gout will testify how painful it can be.. I was actually wheel chaired to the plane..
Didn’t have much in the plans department.. thinking it was Easter here, again late March early April.. I kinda dressed for Spring in Montreal.. I got off plane. It was cold, feet of snow were plowed on side of road.
Take taxis to Shrine., St Joseph that was my destination. Get there like an hour if not less before it closed. I hopped up the stairs with my crutches into Church.. Pray at tomb of St Andre…
Next 2 days visit all these beautiful churches. I found myself at the tombs of 2 maybe 3 people nuns mostly who were like very recently made blessed or saints. This is 2007.. I keep finding myself in the most Catholic places. I would unexpectedly find myself at the heart place tombs of future saints.
I would ask for a relic first class. And I asked the right person as I was given 2 or 3 different relics, in some cases of people that would be canonized saints. I have given all these relics to others.
I wanted to visit St Ann healing Shrine Quebec. Bought a ticket train ticket from Montreal to Quebec, a one day trip there and back.. not knowing that the St Ann church is a bit of a drive from train station to Church.
I remember train ride up to Quebec. Train stops at various times because of snow. Look out window see signs Moose Crossing. Thinking where am I.
Get to Quebec. Find a taxis drive me to St Ann Church. Only have like a half hour because I need to get train back. Taxis waits for me.
Only enough time to say prayer to St Ann.
Get back to hotel in Montreal same day.
Next day I wanted a hotel with a indoor pool. Love idea of swimming with cold snow outside. Remember reading book about St Therese titled ‘All is Grace.’
Having carting this First class relic of St Ann made me think of this adventure!!!
