A thought that came in prayer for All Saints.. when Fr Baker was made a servant of God his body was put into the Church he built ‘Our Lady of Victory ‘… to increase devotion and prayers to him.. when some like Fr Baker became Venerable.. still the cult of his devotion is localized in the Church.. meaning relics are not given.. at least easily officially. devotion is Increased.. but still localized in the Church..
One of the challenges is increase knowledge and devotion to a Servant of God, Venerable.. while devotion is still localized.. like Holy Cards asking for their intercession are still not universally accepted by the Church.. often it a person priest who has had some connection with this Servant of God.. Venerable that helps make them well known beyond where they live..
They might write a book about them. Tell stories so they get more well known.
I have done that with Ft Baker at the hospital having given out tens of thousands of pieces of literature prayers about and to Fr Baker..
so more and more people pray to him.. in one sense increasing the possibility of a miracle due to their intercession then they can become Blessed and eventually Saint..
About All Saints day.. most of the Saints are known only to God and maybe a few other people like Spouse friends, sons and daughters.. but they will never be officially recognized by the Church.. and that the point.. Most saints are known only to God..
And while we will never make a Holy Cards asking people to pray to our Grand Mother or Father, Spouse, or Unborn baby that died in the womb.. we are subjectively convinced that they are with God.. and while they will never be in the official litany of saints sung at St Peter in Rome.. we still feel and ask for their intercession in Heaven.. because we know by love they are part of the family that we remember today for All the Saints..
I know what to name my houses for educating mothers on how to become mothers for those new mothers that don’t know the way of mothering, or are left alone without any semblance of help & need help & or rest.
